Crime Stoppers is a community based program that brings local citizens, the media and the police together in partnership to solve crime. Rewards are offered to anonymous citizens for tips that lead to the arrest and conviction of criminals. http://www.durhamregionalcrimestoppers.ca
Since the inception, the Durham regional Crime Stoppers program has led to over over 3900 arrests and helped lay more than 11,600 charges.
